Transition Lenses

Light-reactive lenses quickly darken in the sun and lighten again almost as quickly when you return indoors. They are not recommended as sunglasses but as comfort lenses that remove glare from bright light.

Transitions Lenses contain special photochromic dyes that cause the lens to darken when exposed to ultra-violet rays from sunlight. When the ultra-violet light diminishes, the lens becomes clear again. This photochromic effect comforts the eye and makes Transitions Lenses the right lenses in any light.
